Vision and Mission

A healthier generations and just society in which communities fully involve and care for each and every member, through the spirit of love and solidarity thus ensuring a really integral human development for all.

Several people publicly declare of us as wild dreamers. There is nothing wrong with view, to some degree. Nevertheless, it is our conviction that this world needs dreamers if we expect real changes come about.

The vision of Atita is a dream. It envisions how we wish the world to be. We may not be able to achieve our dreams, but our vision will help us to remain focused on our aims. This vision will lead us to the right choices and decisions, without losing track, influenced by worldly inclinations.

  •

The first concept that this vision presents is that of a just society. This concept acknowledges that in the current society in the Sudan, as in the current world order, there is no justice. The decades of civil wars in the Sudan stands better evidence.

  •

The second concept of the vision talks about the weak of the society. Atita has at its heart the weak persons. Communities need to empower them with spirit of solidarity.

  •

The third concept in the vision presents the two values that are required in a just society. The first and most important one is love. We need to love people in order to serve them better. Second is solidarity, is born of love. It means sharing in the suffering; taking part in the problem and carrying a bit of its weight.

  •

Integral human development for all is the fourth concept of Atita vision. The organization recognizes that each human being should have the opportunity to develop his/her full potential: spiritually, physically, psychologically and materially. Such integral human development is required for all, the rich and the poor.
